Dopo tanta attesa ecco abilitati gli embed di filmati video dai più comuni siti.
Per inserire un embed all’interno di un post basta inserire nell’editor l’url del filmato o dell’mp3 che si vogliono condividere all’interno dei tag [embed][/embed].
Per specificare alcune opzioni, attualmente altezza e larghezza inserire i parametri width e height nel tag di apertura.

After a long wait it is now possible to embed videos from the most important video sites around..
To embed inside a post all you got to do is write down into the editor the URL of the video (this works also for mp3s) you want to share inside a tag [embed] [-embed].
If you want to specify some options, ie “width” and “height”, you should write them inside the opening tag.

ma nel precedente noblogs si diceva che era meglio non embeddare video da youtube perché in questo modo si regalavano dati e profilazioni a google, in questo modo la cosa non è più valida? si può embeddare a cuor leggere?
Ciao ho provato su piusm.noblogs.org a mettere un video nella prima fascia della sidebar (sopra le sezioni), ho fatto così: da aspetto -> widget ho aggiunto un widget di tipo testo (che permette anche html) e ci ho scritto [embed width="250" height="212"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtGhLuF_6rQ[/embed] , ma come si può vedere sul sito non appare il video ma il testo della scritta… sapete come si potrebbe fare? chiedo scusa ma sono inesperto in materia e mi sembrava l’unico modo

a parte il banner di default, un infelice e malinconico viale del tramonto che non ho ancora trovato il tempo di cambiare, mi sembra tutto più user friendly. ma cacchio, dove si può vedere il numero di letture di ogni post? davvero in un paio d’ore complessive di smanettamento non sono riuscito a trovare questo dato. grazie, il vostro spillaman di fiducia

width/height per embeddare youtube hanno un fattore di rapporto.
percui nn posso es postare solo la barra senza video nel caso mi interessi solo l’audio (mentre se po fa col plugin nel widget) perchè i parametri di object li decide youtube. Assegnare una classe a sarebbe utile per agganciarla nel .css. (se po ffà con getElementByName eventualmente proverò dato che name=video, me pare).
Non vedo perchè preoccuparsi della privacy relativa agli embedd quando recaptcha è un’api di google, percui sul server di google è possibile loggare tutti quelli che fanno il get dell’api, eventualmente realzionarli con la key di wp, tutte le volte che caricano una pagina con il recaptcha.
In fine perchè recaptcha è diventato obbligatorio? l’ho diabilitato già 3 volte, da quando ho provato ad abilitarlo non-se-ne-vuole-andare.
