On the 2nd of November, one of the National Disappeared in America/Disappeared in (state the protest held in) protests was held in Tampa, FL. The chosen site was right in front of Tampa Police Department’s headquarters. Speakers called out Tampa’s Mayor Jane Castor as a Trump collaborator for funding 287(g) while SNAP is cut off and people face starvation-and for terror tactics against people of color as a whole. Organizations providing speakers included TBISN (Tampa Bay Immigrant Solidarity Network), TIRC (Tampa Immigrant Rights Committee),and TampaSDS.
