Am 30. März 2025 hat das Unordnungsamt höchstamtlich gehandelt: Die Johannisstraße sowie umliegende Straßen in Osnabrück wurden symbolisch in „Kontrollstraße“ umbenannt. Um diese offizielle Anordnung gebührend zu kommunizieren, wurden Straßenschilder angepasst und Anwohner*innen mit amtlichen Mitteilungen über die „Umbenennung“ informiert.
