۳۹ سال از فاجعه سردشت می‌گذرد؛ جنایتی که چهره واقعی دولت‌های جنگ‌طلب و اقتدارگرا را آشکار کرد. در ۷ تیر ۱۳۶۶، رژیم بعث عراق با بمب‌های شیمیایی، شهری بی‌دفاع را هدف قرار داد. قربانیان این جنایت، زنان، کودکان و مردمی بودند که هیچ نقشی در جنگ نداشتند. واقعه سردشت یک تراژدی تاسف بار تاریخی است؛ سندی است بر اینکه دولت‌ها، برای حفظ سلطه و مرزهای خود، حتی از سلاح‌های کشتار جمعی علیه غیرنظامیان نیز دریغ نمی‌کنند. سردشت را فراموش نمی‌کنیم.
