Das Gericht folgte damit dem Antrag der Verteidigung auf Aufhebung des Haftbefehls vom 21. April 2026. Thomas J. war am 21. Oktober 2024 aufgrund eines Haftbefehls des Bundesgerichtshofs festgenommen worden und saß insgesamt eineinhalb Jahre in Untersuchungshaft.
