Als Homöopathie [ˌhomøopaˈtiː] (von altgriechisch ὁμοῖος homóios, deutsch ‚gleich‘ und πάθος páthos, deutsch ‚Leid‘) wird eine pseudowissenschaftliche Behandlungsmethode aus dem Bereich der Alternativmedizin bezeichnet. Sie beruht auf Vorstellungen von Samuel Hahnemann aus dem Jahr 1796, wonach für die Behandlung ein Arzneimittel anzuwenden ist, das in höherer Konzentration an Gesunden ähnliche Symptome hervorruft wie die Krankheit (Ähnlichkeitsprinzip). Eine wissenschaftliche Begründung und ein Nachweis für eine pharmakologische Wirksamkeit homöopathischer Arzneimittel existieren nicht. Es lässt sich keine therapeutische Wirkung nachweisen, die über Placebo-Effekte hinausgeht. Von der wissenschaftlichen Medizin wird die Homöopathie als pharmakologisch wirkungslose, in einigen Fällen riskante Behandlung abgelehnt. Ein Gegenbegriff zur Homöopathie ist die Allopathie.

Das Schatzkammer-Evangeliar, auch Karolingisches Evangeliar genannt, ist eine karolingische Bilderhandschrift, die Anfang des 9. Jahrhunderts an der Hofschule Karls des Großen entstand. Das Evangeliar gehört einer Handschriftengruppe an, die als Gruppe des Wiener Krönungsevangeliars bezeichnet wird. Es gehörte zum Kirchenschatz der Aachener Pfalzkapelle Karls des Großen und ist heute in der Aachener Domschatzkammer (Inv.-Nr. 4) ausgestellt. Das Schatzkammer-Evangeliar ist neben dem ottonischen Liuthar-Evangeliar somit die ältere der zwei bedeutenden hier ausgestellten mittelalterlichen Handschriften.

Das Liuthar-Evangeliar, auch Evangeliar Ottos III. oder Ottonisches Evangeliar, ist eines der Hauptwerke ottonischer Buchmalerei. Die nach einem Mönch Liuthar benannte Handschrift entstand vermutlich um das Jahr 1000 im Auftrag Ottos III. im Kloster Reichenau und ist namensgebend für die sogenannte Liuthar-Gruppe der Reichenauer Buchmalerei, der auch das Münchner Evangeliar Ottos III., das Perikopenbuch Heinrichs II. und die Bamberger Apokalypse zugezählt werden. Eine epochale Neuerung in der abendländischen Buchmalerei ist die Darstellung aller Bilder auf Goldgrund. Heute befindet sich das Evangeliar in der Aachener Domschatzkammer (Inv.-Nr. 25) und stellt neben dem Schatzkammer-Evangeliar aus karolingischer Zeit eine der zwei besonders bedeutsamen und wertvollen mittelalterlichen Handschriften der Sammlung dar. Zusammen mit neun weiteren Werken der Reichenauer Schule wurde das Manuskript 2003 von der UNESCO in die Liste des Weltdokumentenerbes aufgenommen.

Der Codex Rohonczi, benannt nach der ehemals westungarischen Stadt Rohonc (heute: Rechnitz, Österreich), ist ein aus 448 Seiten bestehendes Manuskript, das 87 Illustrationen enthält. Es wurde von Graf Gusztáv Batthyány im Rahmen der Schenkung seiner Privatbibliothek 1838 an die Ungarische Akademie der Wissenschaften vermacht. Die weitere Herkunft der Handschrift ist unbekannt, ebenso wie die Schrift und die Sprache, in der sie verfasst ist. Die Anzahl der darin verwendeten Schriftzeichen ist mit mindestens 150 etwa sechs- bis achtmal so groß wie das deutsche (bzw. lateinische) Alphabet mit seinen 26 Grundbuchstaben. Es wurden verschiedene Entzifferungsversuche unternommen.

Als eine mittelalterliche Bibliothek wird eine Bibliothek bezeichnet, die im Mittelalter gegründet wurde, deren Sammlungs- oder Beschaffungsbeginn vor dem 16. Jahrhundert liegt und die im günstigsten Fall bis heute besteht. Gemeint sein kann auch ein historischer Buchbestand, der geschlossen oder teilweise als Sondersammlung von einer anderen Bibliothek übernommen wurde. Auch ein mittelalterlicher Bibliotheksbau kann so bezeichnet werden. Es sind jedoch nur wenige Bibliotheksbauten aus dem Mittelalter erhalten. Ein schönes Beispiel ist die Liberei in Braunschweig (gestiftet 1412, fertiggestellt 1422). Vorgänger der mittelalterlichen Bibliotheken waren die Antiken Bibliotheken.

Die Eiflia illustrata ist eine historisch-geographische Beschreibung der Eifel, die von Georg Bärsch (1778–1866) in drei Bänden zwischen 1824 und 1855 herausgegeben wurde. Dem Werk liegt ein Manuskript mit gleichnamigem Titel des Historiographen Johann Friedrich Schannat (1683–1739) zugrunde, das dieser im Auftrag des Fürsterzbischofs von Prag 1738/39 anfertigte. Der vollständige Titel des ersten Bandes, dessen handschriftliche Vorlage im Landeshauptarchiv Koblenz aufbewahrt wird, lautet: Die Eiflia illustrata ist die erste umfassende Darstellung der Geschichte der Eifel, ihrer Herrscherhäuser, Klöster, Städte und Dörfer und ein frühes Zeugnis der systematischen Geschichtsschreibung. Sie wurde 1966 von Otto Zeller in Osnabrück neu gedruckt.

Das betrifft den Kulturbereich, den Busverkehr und den sozialen Bereich.  Gleichzeitig wird das Leben hier in Tübingen immer teurer. Zum Beispiel steigen die Kitagebühren und die kostenlosen Parkplätze verschwinden. Das heißt: Das betrifft uns alle!  Alles Lebenswerte wird gekürzt und wir sollen kriegstüchtig werden!   Dabei ist das Geld da! Für die Aufrüstung kann sofort Geld locker gemacht werden, aber beim Sozialem wie der Bildung wird weiter gekürzt.
