Di Springfield, “Tiga tiang ditebang dan kamera-kamera tersebut rusak.” Belum ada penangkapan yang dilakukan. Teknologi serupa telah digunakan di tempat lain di negara bagian dan di seluruh negeri selama bertahun-tahun, tetapi kamera di Eugene dan Springfield telah menimbulkan penolakan publik.

Auch an diesem 8 März waren wir in unserer Stadt, in Schwenningen, unterwegs und stellten eine Demo zum Internationalen Frauen*kampftag auf die Beine. Über sechzig Frauen und solidarische Männer kamen zum Startpunkt am Hockenplatz. Weltweit demonstrieren Frauen am 8. März für ihre Befreiung, für ein Leben ohne patriarchale Herrschaft und Gewalt auf den Straßen und öffentlichen Plätzen ihrer Städte. Bevor die Demo los lief, gab es einen Auftakt mit verschiedenen Reden. In einem Redebeitrag wurde daran angeknüpft, dass Errungenschaften vom Wahlrecht bis zum eigenen Bankkonto weder schon immer gibt, noch dass uns diese geschenkt wurden. Frauen haben sie erkämpft.
