Von 1944-1945 wurden etwa 1.100 Frauen aus dem KZ Ravensbrück bei der Daimler-Benz Motoren GmbH in Ludwigsfelde als Zwangsarbeiterinnen ausgebeutet. Sie lebten im Keller Montagehalle 24, der heute noch vorhanden, aber verfüllt ist. Bei einer Voruntersuchung 2022 wurde selbstgefertigte Teller und weitere persönliche Besitztümer der KZ-Häftlinge gefunden. Vor einem Jahr hat die Kommune das Gelände als Gewerbegebiet ausgewiesen. Ein Investor hat das Gelände erworben und will bauen.Der AK Zwangsarbeit gedenken Ludwigsfelde setzt sich für die Einrichtung eines öffentlich zugänglichen Gedenkorts ein. Einladung + 30.6. + 19 Uhr + Auditorium Topographie des Terrors Vor 90 Jahren, im Sommer 1936, begann die SS in Oranienburg mit dem Aufbau des Konzentrationslagers Sachsenhausen, das sich bis 1945 zu einem der größten Lagerkomplexe im Deutschen Reich entwickelte. Im Juli 1936 trafen die ersten 50 Häftlinge aus dem Konzentrationslager Esterwegen in Oranienburg ein, wo sie unter Zwang zum Aufbau des neuen Lagers Sachsenhausen herangezogen wurden. Am 5. September 1936 erfolgte die offizielle Inbetriebnahme des KZ Sachsenhausen, das fortan eine zentrale Stellung im System der national sozialistischen Konzentrationslager einnahm.
