Die AfD Weimarer Land verkündete Ende Oktober, Ordnungsmaßnahmen gegen zwei ihrer Funktionäre verhängt zu haben. Grund war deren Rolle in der Organisation des Naziaufmarschs in Apolda am 12.7.2025. Was war passiert? Infolge eines Messerangriffs auf einen pensionierten Mitarbeiter des Apoldaer Landratsamtes mobilisierte die extreme Rechte Thüringens zu einem rassistischen Aufmarsch am 12.7. Aufgerufen wurde einhellig von Teilen der AfD, dem Montagsdemo-Spektrum aus ReichsbürgerInnen und VerschwörungsideologInnen sowie der militanten Neonaziszene von „Die Heimat“ bis ins Kameradschaftsmilieu. Im Vorfeld des Aufmarschs gab es öffentliche Kritik an der sich anbahnenden Zusammenarbeit von AfD und Neonaziszene.
