We are not forgetting about CBP’s attempted murders in Portland either. ICE started killing this year before the year even started, shooting and killing Keith Porter on fucking New Year’s Eve in LA.

On Wednesday, January 21st, we’ll meet for the first 2026 Patriarkraakt session! To start off, we want to reflect on how we care for ourselves and others. We want to critically reflect on the ways in which we take care of ourselves and others, or deny ourselves and others forms of care. Maybe you like putting effort into cooking for others, but not for yourself. Or maybe your spaces are always tidy, but you leave the reproductive work to your, often FLINTA, housemates. What are the underlying reasons, motivations, and ideas that make us (not) care for ourselves and others? Do we think we are worthy of care and loving gestures, or do we prioritize others? Or are we mostly occupied with ourselves and unwilling to be caring towards others, especially if there’s nothing in it for us. Join us for the first session of this new year, in which we’ll directly go in-depth. For this session, too, we explicitly invite people that want to work on their internalized masculinity. Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks!

Op woensdag 21 januari komen we weer samen voor de eerste Patriarkraaktsessie van 2026! Deze keer gaat het over hoe we zorg dragen voor onszelf en voor anderen. We willen het hebben over de manieren waarop we voor onszelf en anderen zorgen, of onszelf of anderen juist zorg onthouden. Misschien steek je graag energie in koken voor anderen, maar eigenlijk niet in koken voor jezelf. Of wellicht is je eigen kamer schoon, maar laat je al het reproductieve werk over aan anderen, vaak FLINTA-personen. Wat zijn de onderliggende redenen, motivaties en ideeën voor het wel of niet zorgen voor onszelf en anderen? Gunnen we onszelf we voldoende zorg en liefde, of kunnen we dat alleen als we iets voor iemand anders doen? Of zijn we vooral met onszelf bezig en doen we niet veel voor anderen als niemand het ziet of we er geen credits voor krijgen? Kom naar de eerste sessie van het nieuwe jaar om direct de diepte in te duiken! Ook voor deze sessie nodigen we expliciet mensen uit die aan hun geïnternaliseerde mannelijkheid willen werken. Voel je vrij om snacks en/of niet-alcoholische versnaperingen mee te nemen!
