On the 16th of August, pro-Palestine protesters gathered at the offices or Orlando’s WFTV (TV 9) television station. The protest and vigil remembered five al-Jazeera journalists murdered when Israel bombed their tent, plus an independent journalist found dead a month after disappearing. Protesters demanded that US media such as WFTV stop parrotting Israeli propaganda that has the effect of excusing the killing of journalists among so many other things.
